This is a cafe I’d been meaning to check out for a while – Ginkgo cafe in Bornheim. Bornheim is an area in Frankfurt that is probably the most popular with people my age since there are small chic shops, lots of good places to eat and also a really nice cafe and bar culture.
Ginkgo has a really nice atmosphere in there, and the waiters were really friendly and attentive. Their teas were really nice and there was a lot of choice there too. The best part was the cakes they have there – I had this really yummy walnut cake which seemed to be wheat free as well!
Ginkgo is an awesome date spot, but also a good study/reading location too, I think. I’d definitely like to go there again soon!
